Ashlea Lawrenson
Registered Therapeutic Counsellor,
EMDR Practitioner
A compassionate counsellor and EMDR therapist with over 13 years of experience in social work.
Her practice focuses on bringing compassion and curiosity to understand the ways that our nervous system has adopted coping mechanisms to keep us safe.
“I use EMDR as well as other body-based modalities to bring an integrated approach to healing. I specialize in addressing trauma, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm, guiding clients toward a more authentic and fulfilling life.”
Petra Birgit Nielsen
Registered Therapeutic Counsellor,
Clinical Hypnotherapist
With over 20 years of experience working with children, families, and individuals, I integrate lived experience with training in child development, clinical hypnotherapy, and trauma-informed care. Utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and an Internal Family Systems–informed approach, I offer inclusive, compassionate support for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and those healing from trauma, childhood abuse, and emotional neglect. I meet clients where they are, incorporating mind-body practices to help process pain, build resilience, and support lasting personal growth.

The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.
