My Core Beliefs

The quality of our lives is based partly upon the quality of the questions we ask ourselves daily. If you are not inspired about your life or if you are not living the life you truly dream of, it may depend on the type of questions you are asking yourself.

I hold a core belief in the power of people and relationships to heal and transform. I think that nothing should be labelled as good or bad, right or wrong, it is simply effective or ineffective.

Our services are strength based through individual empowerment, founded in mindfulness and awareness, Client Centered, Somatic healing, Relational Life Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy(CBT) and other modalities.

Focusing on my work with couples through Relational Life Therapy(Terry Real) & PACT(Dr.Stan Tatkin). I work with each couple to change their negative emotional patterns and create a closer connection, along with teaching them skills and tools for managing conflict more effectively.

A mere two months after the birth of my first child, life brought an unexpected and devastating loss: my brother-in-law died suddenly. I found myself caught between the joy of new motherhood, the weight of grief, and the strain of trying to meet my own needs while supporting a husband who was unravelling in his pain. For years, we stumbled through difficult times, trying counselling more than once, until we finally found a counsellor who met us in just the right way. That experience shifted everything—it was the beginning of repairing our fractured relationship and reclaiming hope.

As a long-time preschool teacher, I had always loved nurturing and guiding others, but I had never considered counselling until one day our therapist gently asked: “Have you ever thought about becoming a counsellor yourself?” The question landed like a spark. It was the perfect bridge between my love of psychology and my passion for walking with people through struggle.

I followed my intuition, closed the chapter of teaching preschool, and stepped into training as a counsellor. Since then, it has been an honour and privilege to sit with courageous souls as they navigate their own stories of pain, healing, and growth. My approach is grounded in empowering individuals through embodiment and awareness, helping them reconnect with their inner wisdom, regulate their nervous system, and move toward a life that feels authentic and whole.
